Fondant flowers??
Fondant flowers are very pretty, but they do require a bit of practice and patience. I discovered an easy way to make pretty "flowers" for my cakes. Buy a bag of those giant fruit gumdrops (not the spice ones) Spread a bit of superfine sugar on a clean surface and gently roll out your favorite color gumdrop with a rolling pin until it is a bit flattened. Next squeeze the center with your fingers until it resembles a flower. Next cut a strip of a green gumdrop and twist it into a stem. Press the stem at the bottom center of the flower and voila! A pretty flower. You can easily manipulate the flower petals or even fray the edges a bit to make pretty petals. You could even embellish it with icing.
